The SW-SP2 is a Made-in-Japan cube-shaped speaker crafted to be the perfect addition to your desktop audio setup. Designed for compact spaces, it fits effortlessly on desks, bedside tables, or next to TV monitors, offering a rich and balanced sound experience despite its compact size of approximately 12 cm on each side.

Though small, the SW-SP2 is engineered to deliver a balanced and expansive audio experience across a wide frequency range. Traditional compact speakers often struggle with bass performance, leaving the sound feeling limited. The SW-SP2, however, offers a spacious soundstage and an open sound quality that defies its size.

Natural Low-End Performance with Dual Passive Radiators

Each unit features a full-range speaker and dual passive radiators on both sides. Passive radiators, often called “drone cones,” resonate with the vibrations of the active speaker unit, amplifying bass frequencies without the need for additional power. The SW-SP2’s passive radiators are finely tuned to enhance low-frequency resonance, ensuring natural and powerful bass even from its compact form factor. This results in dynamic, high-quality sound that brings music to life.

Compact Size for Small Spaces

Measuring just 112mm (W) × 114mm (H) × 123mm (D), the SW-SP2 is ideal for near-field listening on a desktop, a bedside, as well as for use alongside TV monitors. The speaker can also be paired with a subwoofer (sold separately) to create a 2.1 channel system or used as satellite speakers in a 5.1 channel surround setup.

The base features a 1/4-inch screw hole (depth: approx. 10mm), compatible with camera tripods and wall-mount brackets, offering flexible placement options.
