Single-ear Type Allows You to Stay Aware of Your Surroundings
We offer you a single-sided stereo earphone. It mixes left and right stereo channels into one earpiece and has a TRS plug (2 black stripes). It allows you to keep one ear open, so you can stay aware of their surroundings. Thanks to its dual-ear wearing style, it is also suitable for users with unilateral hearing loss or single-sided deafness.
You can Use your Favorite Headphones with the SW-NS1
You can exchange your favorite earphones or headphones. The headphone jack is a 3.5mm 3-pole stereo mini socket (female). You can also use it as a headset by plugging in your favorite headphones instead of the attached earphone. Please ensure your headphones/earphones have a 3.5mm 3-pole plug (TRS). Please do NOT use a Mono earphone (TS plug: only one stripe) or a Stereo earphone with a Mic (TRRS plug: 3 black stripes).
Wired Business Headset
Our wired headsets are ideal for business users who demand high-quality sound and reliable connectivity. The 1.2m tangle-free cable features a 3.5 mm stereo mini gold-plated connectors. Additionally, the single-sided cable is securely attached to the neck-band, ensuring reliable connection even against accidental pulls. This headset does not include volume or mute buttons. If your devices (PC, smartphones, tablets) doesn’t t offer a built-in 3.5 mm port, please use an adapter (sold separately).
Flexible Gooseneck Unidirectional Microphone
The Neck-band Headset SW-NS1 features a cardioid (unidirectional) ECM microphone. The unidirectional mic is tuned to pick up the sound emanating from your mouth and will reject background noise. The flexible microphone boom can be adjusted closer to your mouth for optimal voice pickup. The boom swivel allows the headset to be worn on the left or right side.
Durability to Withstand Everyday Use
The durable body, made of ‘Nylon Resin’ plastic, is designed to withstand everyday use and has undergone rigorous durability tests. When we began developing the headset for a renowned American hamburger chain restaurant in the 1990s, ordinary plastic housings would crack within a month in the oily kitchen environment. Therefore, we endeavored to find durable materials, and eventually, adopted highly durable nylon resin for the housing. Since then, our headphone and headset housings have been made of nylon resin.
